PC falls in first games

At their first official games of the season, the Lady Plainsmen travelled to Chappel to face the Creek Valley Storm and the Sutherland Sailors in triangular play, falling to both teams. 

PC fought hard in the first set against Creek Valley, just missing the win at 23-25. 

The Lady Plainsmen took the next set over the storm 25-21, but lost the final set 9-25. 

Sutherland defeated PC in two sets, 20-25 and 14-25. 

The team travelled to Brady on Tuesday for more triangular play vs. Brady and South Platte. They’ll play North Platte St. Pat’s in North Platte on Thursday, Sept. 5 and face Hitchcock County and Wallace on Tuesday, Sept. 10 in Trenton.
