Peyton Woodmancy sets up her put on the green during the Aug. 31 meet.

PC girls golfers medal in both competitions last week

The girls golfers headed to Kimball on Tuesday Aug. 29 where the girls both placed individually according to their head coach Shawn Cole. “There were not stats from Kimball. Kyla [Brueggeman] was second with a 100 and Peyton [Woodmancy] was sixth with a 112,” he said.

Later in the week, the girls headed to Creek Valley, and once again, placed top ten individually.

Brueggeman took fifth with 100 strokes, and Woodmancy shot a 114, earning her the number ten spot. Woodmancy said she will be focusing on her putting to improve for Gothenburg, and added she was happy with her driving last week. “My biggest struggle was adjusting to the green speeds while putting,” said Woodmancy.
