PCS wins at Kimball, third at Creek Valley

The Perkins County golf team started its week off with a bang, taking the team championship at the Kimball Invite Aug. 30. Two days later the group placed third at the Creek Valley Invite.

Emma Klahn led the way at Kimball, finishing one stroke out of first place after shooting 107. Kaitlin Meyer also medaled. Meyer placed fourth with a score of 110.

Thursday at Creek Valley, Meyer was the top individual finisher, coming in at fifth. Second place to fifth place were within five strokes of each other.

Rounding out the varsity team at the invites were Jacqueline Gloy, Ella Uehling and Sarah Cockerill.
