Plainsmen add two wins to record

Three games last week took Shawn Cole and the Perkins County Plainsmen to a 11-7 record for the season, with just two games left before sub-districts.

Traveling to Maxwell on Jan. 30, the Plainsmen stomped the Maxwell Wildcats.

The Plainsmen traveled to Cambridge on Friday night and were able to pull out the win over the Trojans.

Saturday saw the Cozad Haymakers head to Grant and this time, the PC boys found themselves defeated.

Maxwell

The game in Maxwell went well for the Plainsmen from the beginning, when they were able to put up 22 points in the first, while allowing just seven Wildcat points.

There was no slowing down in the second and PC took their lead to 38-15 by halftime.

Maxwell put up a hard fight in the third, putting up 20 points while PC added 17, however, the score was still in the Plainsmen’s favor at 55-35.
