Potts first, Garner second team SPVA selections

Perkins County juniors Kailee Potts and Blake Garner have been named to the SPVA All Conference teams.

Potts joined Bridgeport junior Olivia Loomis-Goltl the only two non-seniors on the girls’ first team. 

Seniors were Ruthie Loomis-Goltl of Bridgeport, Bryn McNair of Chase County and Tonja Heirigs of NPSP rounded out the first team. 

The girls’ second team was made up of three Hershey players and two from Bridgeport.

PCS senior Carlie Homan and sophomore Libby Cole were on the honorable mention list.

Garner was included with players from Bridgeport, Hershey and NPSP on the second team.

Chase County’s Kade Anderson was the only senior on the boys’ first team. He was joined by juniors Kolby Lussetto of Bridgeport, Brecken Erickson of North Platte St. Pat’s and Cooper Hill of Hershey, as well as Kimball sophomore Kyler Lusche.

Out of the 16 boys players on the first team, second team and honorable mention, only three were seniors.

Junior Nolan Foster and sophomore Jackson Wykert were named honorable mention.
