Spring storm rains on sports schedules

The unpredictable Nebraska spring weather brought spring sports to a halt last week, with several events cancelled or postponed. 

 PC’s track team was scheduled to head to Hershey for SPVA on Friday April 28, but that meet was postponed to Tuesday, May 2, and the Best of the Midwest track invite that was to be held on May 2 was cancelled. 

The Plainsmen golfers were scheduled to play in Garden County on Thursday, April 27, and that invite was moved to Monday, May 1. SPVA was postponed from Friday, April 28 in North Platte, to Tuesday, May 9 in Sutherland. 

Tuesday, May 2 the Plainsmen golfers traveled to Creek Valley, and Thursday, May 4 they will travel to Kimball. 

Wallace’s RPAC meet scheduled for Friday, April 28 was rescheduled for Monday, May 1.
