Stodola new head coach of Plainsmen wrestlers

Leading this season’s 13 wrestlers is new head coach Dustin Stodola.

Before starting at PCS this past fall, Stodola coached wrestling at Chadron State College for two years as a graduate assistant. He is a three-time Class B high school state wrestling champion and wrestled for CSC in college.

Stodola said he is hoping to bring a new outlook to the sport.

“With my experience wrestling and coaching, I believe the student-athletes will learn and develop in a way to be successful. I also have high expectations for all the wrestlers this year, and I hope to instill within these gentlemen that hard work and dedication will help them achieve their goals not only athletically, but also throughout life,” he said.
