Uehling inducted into Athletic Hall of Fame

Janelle Hutt Uehling, a native of Grant and now of North Platte, was inducted into the Chadron State College Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, Oct. 27. After excelling at Perkins County High School, she played center for the Eagles’ basketball team, graduating in 2001. She shot 50.4 percent from the field, scored 1,100 points, grabbed 580 rebounds and blocked 114 shots during her career. More than 30 family members attended the induction, including (l-r): mother-in-law Glee Uehling, husband Gregg, son Carson, daughter Addison, parents Dennis and Ronda Hutt, and son Tyson.
