Wallace boys a win away from state tournament

Despite falling to Mullen 53-37 in the subdistrict final last week, the Wallace Wildcats’ 14-8 record earned them enough wildcard points to get them into the district finals this week as the No. 11 seed in the 16-team bracket. They were scheduled to play 18-7 Parkview Christian of Lincoln  Tuesday night at Shelton in the D2-6 district final, with the winner advancing to next week’s state tournament.
