Wallace girls add win and loss

The Lady Cats earned a win and a loss in their games last week against South Platte and Paxton. On Thursday, Jan. 16 the girls played South Platte and were defeated 50-41. On Friday, Jan. 17, they faced Paxton where they won 55-30. Sophomore Mariah Gardner was the top scorer for Wallace in both games with 16 points against South Platte and 25 points against Paxton. The Lady Cats played Dundy County Stratton with an 11-1 record on Tuesday, Jan. 21. Wallace girls have a 4-7 record coming into the week. The Republican Plains Activities Conference begins this week, and the first team Wallace will face is Maxwell. The game will take place at Maxwell on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 11 a.m. Central Time.
