Wallace Girls split week

The Lady Wildcats traveled to South Platte on Thursday, Jan. 10 and competed against the Blue Knights. The Wildcats came up short the first half, going into halftime down 21-13. They came back in the second half and put up a fight, but came up short by 10. South Platte claimed the victory 47-37 despite the Lady Cats’ efforts. Above: Quinn Koop, a Wallace junior, puts the ball to the hoop over South Platte’s Brenna Triplette. Wallace headed to Paxton the next day, Jan. 11, where they beat the Lady Tigers 48-43. The Wildcats will host Stapleton on Thursday, Jan. 17 in their last game before moving on to RPAC. Jan. 19 will see Wallace kick off their RPAC competition when they travel to Wauneta-Palisade to take on the Lady Broncos. See more of the RPAC schedule on the Community Calendar to the right.
