Hannah Robertson completed the Ogallala course with a time of 25:44, earning 63rd place.

Volleyball

The Lady Wildcats played two games this past week. 

Last Tuesday they Paxton, winning one set and losing two to suffer a loss. The scores were 7-25, 25-21 and 14-25.

Hailey Brooks led kills with 10. She was joined by Emma Berry and Sydney Pelster to lead service aces with nine each. Pelster led digs with nine.

On Thursday they lost to Sandhills/Thedford 13-25, 17-25 and 18-25. Coach Elizabeth Hock said they played with consistency against the toughest team they’ve seen all year. 

Brooks led with 19 digs and Pelster led service aces with 12.

The team hosted a triangular on Tuesday, Sept. 25 and will host Leyton on Friday, Sept. 28. 

Cross Country

The cross country team competed at the Ogallala meet on Sept. 20. Mariah Gardner placed 24th with a time of 22:25.4. Brianna Juarez placed 59th with a time of 25:16.7. Hannah Robertson placed 63rd with a time of 25:44 and Emily Kennicutt placed 74th with a time of 29:14.59.

In the boys’ race, Jackson Sinsel  placed 61st with a time of 19:59.4. Aidan McClintock placed 69th witha time of 20:43.3 and Camden McConnell placed 93rd with a time of 26:58.2.

Their next meet will be in Gothenburg this Thursday.
