Wallace track medals 10 events at Paxton Invite

The Wallace boys and girls track teams competed at the Paxton Invite on Tuesday, April 16. 

Micah Swedberg captured three golds and a bronze. He ran the 100 in 11.5 seconds to take gold, the 200 in 23.84 and 400 in 52.81. He took third in the long jump with a jump of 19-4.5. 

Freshman Jackson Sinsel took fourth in the 3200 with a time of 12:16.15. 

Meredith McCoy jumped 14-1.75 in the long jump to take fourth. 

Placing fifth for the girls was Arianna Davie in the 100 with a time 14.13, Hannah Robertson in the 400 with a time of 1:10.14 and the 4x800 relay. 

The relay team of Jasmin Gardner, Denay Pelster, Juliana Rosentrater and Brianna Juarez ran the race in 12:30.04

The 4x400 relay team of Denay Pelster, Sydney Pelster, Robertson and Juarez ran the race in 5:03.69 to finish sixth. 

The teams will compete in the RPAC meet at Southern Valley High School in Oxford this Friday, April 26. Field events begin at 11 a.m. at track events start at 1 p.m.
