Wildcat girls finish season in game against Med Valley

The Lady Cats ended their basketball season in the first round of sub-districts on Tuesday, Feb. 18. The game started off close, with both teams scoring eight points in the first quarter, but Medicine Valley quickly pulled ahead and held their lead until the end. They finished the game 40-27 with Medicine Valley moving forward in the class D2-10 sub-districts. Karlie Finley was the top scorer for Wallace with 11 points. This was the last high school basketball game for seniors Sydney Pelster, Quinn Koop and Haley Lundvall who will be graduating this fall. Medicine Valley played Wauneta-Palisade next. Wauneta-Palisade won, and will be moving on to the district finals on Friday, Feb. 28.
