Wildcats add two wins to record

Wallace had a busy week of basketball with two regular season games and the beginning of the RPAC conference tournament all in one week.

Dundy County Stratton

The week started with a home game hosting the 10-2 Dundy County Stratton Tigers.

Wallace controlled the game as it got underway. They had a 19-11 lead late in the quarter, but the Tigers hit a 3-pointer late so the score at the buzzer stood at 19-14, Wildcat lead.

DCS dominated the next eight minutes as they got shots falling while their defense stifled the Wildcats. The Tigers took a 38-26 lead into halftime.

The momentum went back to the Wildcats in the third quarter. Wallace went on a 14-point run to tie the game, and the quarter ended with DCS taking a 48-46 lead into the final period.
