Wildcats compete at Sutherland Invitational

Wallace boys and girls track teams competed against nine other schools at the Sutherland Booster Invitational on Thursday, April 13. 

Micah Swedberg and Jared Sullivan each placed in two individual events. The boys’ 4x400 and 4x800 relays placed second and fifth respectively. 

Madisen Messersmith, Jayden Widener, Hannah Nelson and Peyton Messersmith each placed individually for the girls, and the 4x400 and 4x800 relays placed third and fourth respectively.

The Wildcats competed in the Paxton Invitational on Tuesday, April 18. See next week’s issue for results.

Next Action

After Tuesday’s meet, the Wildcats will have a 10-day break before the next competition on Friday, April 28. The RPAC meet will be held in Trenton, with field events beginning at 11 a.m. CT.
