Wildcats end season with 4-4 record

Wallace traveled to Oshkosh last Thursday to take on Garden County in the opening round of the D2 playoffs. The Wildcats knew they would have to play their very best and have some things go their way to compete with the heavily favored Eagles.

The Cats went into the game relying a great deal on mixing their run and pass game but the weather conditions were not necessarily favorable for that plan. A cold, strong wind created some issues with the pass game and the rushing game was hindered by a tough Eagle defense.

Garden County came out in the first half and took control of the game. They scored four touchdowns in the first quarter and put up three more in the second quarter to take a 48-0 lead at halftime.
