Wildcats gain two victories

The Wallace boys defeated both opponents, Brady and Maxwell, in last week’s games. The Wildcats first faced Brady on Tuesday, Feb. 4 where they won by just five points making for an exciting finale. They finished the game 61-56 in Wallace’s favor. Kolton Hagar was the top scorer against Brady’s Eagles with 28 points. Wallace then went on to play a strong game against Maxwell’s Wildcats on Feb. 7 who they defeated by 17 points, 66-49. Camden McConnell scored the most points for Wallace on Friday with 26 points, and Hagar was just behind McConnell with 23. Wallace played Southwest in a home game on Tuesday evening, and will travel to Trenton for a game against Hitchcock County on Friday, Feb. 14. After this week, the Wildcats have just one more game of the regular season before they move on to sub-districts.
