The trip to the state FFA convention didn’t slow down the Wallace track teams at the Sutherland Booster Invite Saturday.

The Wildcats combined to win seven events, plus the girls team title.

Head Coach Danielle Snider said she thought her athletes performed great since more than half made the FFA trip.

Trey Robertson won the 1600 and 3200 meter runs in convincing fashion. T. Robertson won the 1600 by 13 seconds and the 3200 by over 90 seconds.

Kyler Flaming brought home a first-place finish in the 300 meter hurdles

Carson Glunz placed second in the 100 meter dash.

The Wallace girls team won its third straight meet.

Kendyl Flaming won the 100 and 300 meter hurdles, as well as finishing second in the high jump. Flaming won the 300 meter hurdles by four seconds of team Mariana Aceves-Lopez who placed second.

The Wildcats went 1-2-3 again in the 3200 meter run. Dajana Garrison placed first ahead of Ashley Robertson and Elliana Robertson.
