Congressman Adrian Smith (right) visited Perkins County Schools on Friday, May 12 to congratulate junior Charles Johnson of Grant for winning the 2017 Third District Congressional Art Competition. His artwork, “Sophie,” will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C., for one year.

    Backflow can threaten both public and private water supplies. Backflow is caused by “cross-connections,” connections between a safe drinking water supply and possible sources of contamination.
