In recognition of Youth Art Month, the Perkins County Chamber held a coloring contest for students at Perkins County Schools. Three age groups submitted coloring sheets and were judged by the Chamber board. Winners of each age group are (l-r): Rieken Lee, Rowen Lee and Sabastion Michael. Their winning pages are hanging in the window of Country Supply and other entries adorn windows and doors of businesses on Central Avenue in Grant.

The annual Elsie Easter Egg Hunt was held Saturday, March 27 at the Elsie Methodist Church. There were 30 eager egg hunters lined up and ready to go for the 10 a.m. start, despite the wind and cold temperatures. The children that found a “prize egg” each received a special gift. The special egg prize winners included (l-r): Rhett Robertson, Will McCoy, Millie Johnson(her big sister Ryleigh), Stella Smith, Brightyn Regier, Corbin Burkhalter.
