The Western Sky Community Care Center Board of Directors has announced it has hired an administrator and director of nursing (DON) to lead the facility. Serving as administrator will be Seth Carruthers, and serving as DON will be Brandi Wright. Above, WSCCC Board President Mark Bottom, right, and Senior Insight Consultant Tim Groshans, left, stand with Carruthers, center, who was introduced Tuesday, Feb. 17, to the Perkins County Health Services Board. The three men were present at the PCHS Board meeting to take part in PCHS releasing WSCCC from a restrictive covenant that accompanied PCHS’s sale of the nine acres of land in August 2022 on which WSCCC was built on. Once owned by PCHS and commonly known as the Frederick Ground, the property was sold to WSCCC for $1, along with a $60,000 donation from PCHS.
