On the evening of Thursday, July 9, Grant United Methodist received a truckload of food totaling at 7,200 pounds of food for those in need of assistance.
The Grant Volunteer Fire Department held their annual banquet on Saturday, July 11. Several members were recognized for milestone years served on the department.
Matthew Soper-Wendell, a recent graduate from Perkins County Schools, can be seen performing as Sparky this summer at the Front Street Crystal Palace Revue in Ogallala.
Sen. Dan Hughes of Venango has enjoyed being on the farm during the Legislature’s recess due to COVID-19.
Last week, he was busy on the combine, finishing up a wheat harvest.
