Plainsmen take fourth at DCS invite

With two invites under their belts, the Perkins County Golf team is looking ahead to Thursday when they will head to the Hershey invite for a 9 a.m. tee-time.

Dani Burge, above, and Austin Meyer, shown competing at the Ogallala meet two weeks ago, both enjoyed a good day of throwing at the Creek Valley meet Monday. Burge won the discus and took third in the shot while Meyer took third in the shot and fifth in the discus. 

Girls third, boys fifth at Creek Valley meet

Shane Hite’s Perkins County Lady Plainsmen claimed a third place finish in the Creek Valley twilight meet in Chappell Monday.
