Chamber awards First Dollars to Grant Housing Authority and Imperial Beef; highlights several upcoming activities

Perkins County Chamber was held Thursday, April 16, at the Perkins County Senior Center at noon, with 12 in attendance.

Paint, ceramic, fabric and more are on display for the month of April at the Meadowlark Gallery, showcasing the artwork of the Junior and Senior High School students in Perkins County. The Meadowlark Gallery is Open on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5-7 p.m. and is located at 246 Central Ave. in Grant. The Gallery keeps an updated social media account, via Facebook, and has begun advertising their May Open House event, which will be May 1, and feature live music by Dave Curtis and Keith Martin. Attendees will also get a chance to meet with May’s featured artist, Art by Breeanna Benton who will feature “Twisted Masters” during the month of May at the Gallery. Free refreshments will be served at the May 1 Open House event.
