A look back at Bye, Bye Birdie
With this year’s Perkins County High School students putting on “Bye, Bye Birdie,” the Tribune-Sentinel takes a look back to other years where the musical was performed at the school.

Bye, Bye, Birdie was on stage at PCS in October 1991 with Ryan Terwilliger playing the lead of“Conrad Birdie”, pictured above. The play was directed by Alan Sipes and Diana Tate. Playing other lead roles in the musical were Will Schroeder, Jenni Stritt, Dana Lair, Ranae Krajewski, Carrie
Johnson, A J . Regier, Doug Colglazier, Matt Regier. Nearly all of the student body was involved in one phase or another with the production. In addition, members of the community helped out wherever needed.

Perkins County will present “Bye, Bye Birdie” Saturday, Sept. 10 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 11 at 3 p.m. for the public. Tickets are on sale for Saturday’s show at the high school office.
