The Plainsmen boys golf team headed to Chappell for their first competition this season on Wednesday, March 28, after it was bumped up a day due to the winter storm that was expected to hit Thursda
Perkins County tracksters battled rain and cold temperatures at last Wednesday’s Ed Moore Invite in Ogallala.
The boys earned 62 team points, gaining them a fifth place finish.
The smoke has settled just enough to see the four Division I schools that made it to the Final Four of the 2018 NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament.
Perkins County kicked off their track season on Thursday, March 22 with a pre-season meet at home.
Winners of the alumni tournament held over the weekend were the “old men” of the tournament, made up of alumni from years 2002 and older.
