Perkins County’s varsity boys golf team turned in a strong showing at the SPVA Meet in Enders on May 1, finishing runner-up with a team score of 347. Cade Kroeker led the Plainsmen with a 79 (39-40), earning second place individually, while Colton Kroeker followed with an 83 (38-45) to claim fourth. Also contributing to the team score were Jet Peterson with an 88 (42-46), Rylee Schrotberger with a 97 (48-49), and Myles Bishop with a 98 (47-51). The Plainsmen are wrapping up the regular season with a meet scheduled for today, May 7 at Four Winds, and a competition at Crandall Creek on May 14, both begin at 9 a.m. Districts begin on Monday May 18.
