Sheriff’s Office to conduct ordinance sweeps
Sheriff James D. Brueggeman announced this week his office will begin ordinance compliance sweeps in the City of Grant and Villages of Elsie, Madrid, and Venango.

Meghan Bishop and Mallory McClenahan of Perkins County are performers in this summer’s Front Street Crystal Palace Revue in Ogallala.
The Perkins County Health Services Foundation 4th Annual Golf Event was held Saturday, May 22 at the Pheasant Run Golf Club. 33 teams played in the two person scramble that raised funds to support our local healthcare services. John and Jacob Woodmancy won first place in the first flight and their names will be placed on the trophy that will be displayed at the hospital. The trophy was created by Soulful Salvage.

The town smashes down the waste in the roll off periodically to get more in it. This is Tom Tines in the pay loader. When the roll off is available, it gets used extensively.
PCCFF Update: Venango thankful for assistance with community clean-up; PCCFF application deadline is June 30th
The Village of Venango, a recipient of $5,000 in 2019 from the PCCFF, has used the funds to help with community cleanup and beautification.
