McArtor honored for 30 years at PCHS

Dana McArtor, director of nursing at Perkins County Health Services, was honored for 30 years of service at their 50s-themed employee banquet Friday, April 26.

Perkins County fourth graders planted two sugar maple trees with tree board and Lions Club members at Grant City Park on Friday, April 26 in honor of Arbor Day. The trees were donated by the Grant Tree Board and Grant Lions Club. The tree board also sponsored shirts, which were designed by each student.

To celebrate Arbor Day, the fourth grade at Wallace School planted a Redmond Linden tree on the school playground. The tree was purchased by the Wallace Community Club. Club members and fourth-grade teacher Krystal Sauser assisted with the planting.
