Elsie birthday celebrated
The Elsie Senior Meal was held on Tuesday, June 20. They enjoyed a meal of pork chops, baked potatoes, creamed peas and jello salad. A June birthday cake was donated by Sandhills State Bank.
Schulze champion at soap box derby
Jasmine Schulze of Grant was the Super Kids Champion at the Wild West Soap Box Derby in Ogallala on Saturday, June 17.
MPCC raffle car headed to Grant
The 2017 Mid-Plains Community College raffle car, a 1965 Chevrolet Impala, will make an appearance in Grant next week. The public will have a chance to buy tickets for it from noon to 5 p.m.
Free kits at SWNPHD for colorectal cancer screening
Southwest Nebraska Public Health Department (SWNPHD) will have free fecal occult blood test (FOBT) kits available at both their McCook and Imperial offices to screen for Colorectal Cancer.
