Grant received an inch-and-a-half of rain Friday, July 28, and over a half-inch was reported on Sunday, July 30. Madrid received 1.51 inches on Friday and 0.81 inches on Sunday.

PCSO in transition following resignation
Casey Griffin of Grant resigned from the Perkins County Sheriff’s Office effective July 28, and has accepted a job in the private sector.
