Barb Hatch was honored during an open house on Friday, Feb. 27 for her years of service at Hatch’s Super Foods. Several people, including store co-owner Kyle Hatch, came to wish Hatch best wishes as she prepares to move to Lincoln. Barb will continue to be a part of the Grant store remotely, however, handling accounts payable, accounts receivable as well as a few other things.

Elsie seniors gathered for their monthly luncheon on Tuesday, February 17, at the Elsie Legion Hall. The gathering featured a homemade luncheon catered by Little Country Kitchen, consisting of cheesy ham and noodle casserole, Harvard beets, coleslaw, and rolls. Connie Wilson contributed a red velvet cake, and members celebrated those who have a February birthday that included Susie McClintock, Lyla Hahn, and Lisa Kling. In attendance were: Duane McClintock, Josie Hughes, Rosalie Curtis, Susan Hanson, Kathy Curtis, Karen Fuller, Sharon Day, Scott and Debbie Osler, Dave and Tara Curtis, Marian and Bill Robertson, Glenn and Dixie Colson, Deloris Steinwart, Mike and Peggy Leachmen, and Mat Lechman
