Graduation commencements to be held this Saturday
Seniors this year are fortunately able to gather for an in-person graduation this May.
They will meet for the final time as the class of 2021 this Saturday, May 8.

New officers for Perkins County FFA were announced at the FFA annual banquet Friday, April 23. Sydney Long was the evening’s banquet speaker, and Phillip Picquet was the Honorary Chapter Degree recipient. PC FFA announces 2021-2022 officers
The 2021 Wallace Prom Queen and King are Ashlyn Robinson and Hadley Sayer. Ashlyn is the daughter of Randy and Becky Robinson, and Hadley is the son of Kris and Jackie Sayer.

College Notes
MPCC campuses ready for May 7 graduation
A number of area students will be graduating from Mid Plains Community College in North Platte and McCook on May 7.
The Perkins County Quiz Bowl team finished third out of 14 teams at the District Tournament Monday, April 19. This is the end of the season for the team as only the top two teams advance to State. Seniors Ethan Terry, Tyler Tucker and Keegan Sims will be graduating, making the District Tournament the last quiz bowl competition of their high school careers.
