Placing second at the district competition was the Perkins County golf team, who’s heading to Kearney for state on Tuesday, May 21. Team members include (l-r): Head Coach Troy Kemling, Matthew Aerni, Aaron Fay, Jacob Woodmancy, Carson Thelander, Kaden Smith and Deitrik Brueggeman. 

Plainsmen golfers head to state

The Plainsmen golf team is headed to state in Kearney next week following districts in Cambridge on Monday, May 13.

PC Senior Hailey Snyder jumped 33-7.5 to take first in the triple jump. She also took third in the 400, fifth in the 200 and was a member of the third-place 1600 relay team. 

Boys second, girls fourth at DC Twilight; districts Friday

The Perkins County boys came home with second from the Dundy County Stratton Twilight Invite Friday, May 3. The girls tied for fourth with Wauneta-Palisade.
