The Plainsmen defense shut down the Arapahoe Warriors for most of the second half Friday night. After falling behind 20-8 early in the thrid quarter, the defense gave up only one more touchdown while the Plainsmen put up four touchdowns to claim a 37-28.

Casey Hanson got his hands on this pass from Triston Hite to set up the Plainsmen’s first touchdown against undefeated Arapahoe in the D1 playoffs Friday night. The win advanced the Plainsmen to the quarterfinals.

Plainsmen stun undefeated Arapahoe 37-28

In the Round of 16 last Friday, the Perkins County Plainsmen stunned the undefeated Arapahoe Warriors 37-28 to advance to the D1 playoff quarterfinals.

Perkins County volleyball closes out season at sub-districts

After a hard-fought nine sets in four and a half hours at the sub-district volleyball tournament Monday, Oct. 25, the Perkins County volleyball team’s season has come to an end.
