Now that the Thanksgiving holiday has passed, it’s starting to feel more like the Christmas season along Grant’s Central Avenue. The City of Grant purchased new LED Christmas decorations this year to brighten Grant’s main street. A timed exposure provides a unique look at decorations on both sides of the street.

This 2018 fifth-wheel RV camper caught on fire just west of Venango Thursday night. The owner, who was traveling from a job in Wyoming back to Oklahoma, was able to get his pickup unhooked. Due to the uncertainty of the location of the 911 call, departments from Imperial, Lamar and Venango responded to the call.
