Perkins County FFA donated $2,000 to the Perkins County Health Services Foundation on the 10th anniversary of the Pink Out Fundraiser. Over the last 10 years, Perkins County FFA has raised over $30,000 for the cause.  FFA members at the presentation were (l-r): Storm Peterson, Summer Postlewait, Kayton Brueggeman, Dani Burge, PCHSF Director Jackie Urdahl, Kylie Tucker, Rylee Huff, Hallie Fisher and Eli Busick. 

Pink Out donations hit $30,000 mark

Ten years ago, the FFA chapters at Perkins County Schools and Chase County Schools embarked on a joint fundraiser to raise money for breast cancer awareness.

The Grant Volunteer Fire Department received a $5000 donation from Aurora Co-op which will be used for the replacing old equipment and purchasing some new. Pictured at the presentation are (l-r): are Senior Captain Don Softley, Aurora Co-op Grant Manager Andy Cantrell, Chief Rick Dreiling and Assistant Chief Fred Reichert. Cantrell said after the pland accident, they wanted to show their support and thanks for all local volunteers and community support.
