The Perkins County Schools board worked through a full agenda at its recent meeting on Monday, Feb.
Perkins County Government officials helped to educate the Perkins County High School Seniors on Tuesday, Feb. 17 during County Government Day about how their offices function, and how the government works. The annual event is hosted by the Perkins County Veteran’s Office and the Grant Legion. The PCHS seniors were broken up into groups and chaperoned to the different offices in the courthouse by veterans who volunteered during the day. After their visit, the seniors did a question and answer session to see what they each learned during the day. The day concluded with the seniors, county officials and veterans eating a pizza lunch together.
