Perkins County wrestlers ended their regular season last weekend, competing in a dual at Kearney Catholic Friday night and then on to Doniphan invite Saturday.
Wallace’s Lady Cats fell in their final two games of the RPAC tournament last week. After their win over Paxton in the first round, Wallace lost to Maywood/Hayes Center 61-33. They then faced Dundy County-Stratton, who won 47-29. Tuesday, Feb. 2, Wallace played Brady. The Lady Cats will finish out the week with a home game against Maxwell on Friday with junior varsity girls starting at 4 p.m. Here, freshman Skylar Kuhlman makes a move for the basket. After a bye in the first round of the RPAC tournament, the Wallace boys faced Paxton where they fell 47-22. They then moved on to play against Maxwell in a close game.
After a weekend off, the Plainsmen wrestlers will return to the mat Friday when they travel east to face Kearney Catholic in a dual.
